While there are many attractions scheduled for the Jiu-Jitsu Con on Aug. 31 through Sept. 1, the superfight card is one of the main allures that promises to heat up the mats in the Las Vegas Convention Center. Among the matchups, perhaps the most anticipated match-up will see the popular Tainan Dalpra facing a troublesome opponent, who goes by the name of Yan Lucas "Pica-Pau."

The IBJJF has announced a slate of superfights that will take place on September 1 at the IBJJF Absolute Grand Prix, part of Jiu-Jitsu Con weekend in Las Vegas, NV.

This year's IBJJF World Championships was one of the most highly anticipated of all time. And it delivered, with amazing matchups, budding rivalries, and hours of great jiu-jitsu. In retrospect, it was also a historic year for the event. The 26th edition of IBJJF Worlds saw records broken and history made across the black belt divisions. The stacked black belt divisions have been whittled down to just eight men and just two women each. By the end of the day, nineteen IBJJF Pans black belt champions will be crowned.
