Erberth Santos took home double gold at the IBJJF South American championships this weekend with wins in the super heavyweight and absolute divisions. 

Santos, who has switched teams five times since purple belt, now represents Sao Paulo-based Ryan Gracie Team.  He defeated Pablo Yuri Lemos Aragao of Checkmat in the finals of the super heavyweight division, and beat Jaime Canuto of GF Team in the absolute. 

Four of the ten divisions were closeouts, with the light featherweight, featherweight, middleweight and heavyweight categories left without finals matches due to teammates instead deciding upon gentleman’s agreements.
