The IBJJF's The Crown is back and bigger than ever! This premier gi event aims to bring together the best of the best to fight for the gold medal, prize money, and consideration as one of the absolute top black belts on Earth. Everything goes down live on November 17th in the Walter Pyramid, Long Beach, CA and will be aired exclusively on FloGrappling.

After last year's inaugural event, the fields will double in size. The format is similar to the BJJ Pro events that IBJJF runs, condensing their usual 19 weights down to 6 - men's feather, men's middle, men's heavy, men's ultra-heavy, women's light, and women's super-heavy.

The event will be at the Walter Pyramid, just like last year and like the World Championships, in Long Beach, CA. Tickets are available now and every match will be streamed on FloGrappling. There will be two mats running up until the finals, which will then move to just one mat. Every match will follow traditional IBJJF rules, with ten minute periods throughout.

Each division is filled with athletes from different teams who have excelled throughout their career in the IBJJF, with some attention given to exciting, engaging athletes who will help ensure an incredible event. There are already 8 world champions who are committed to the event, with more to come.
