Who’s Next: Submission Fighter Challenge presented by Tezos is a reality competition series following the journey of 16 up-and-coming grappling superstars as they compete in a single-elimination, submission-only tournament.

Born on October 16, 2001 and training out of  Austin, Texas, Manasoui is a blue belt representing New Wave.  Manasoui is often referred to as ‘Big Dan’ due to his imposing stature at 6’7.

Born on May 1, 2003 and training out of Austin, Texas, Andrew Tackett is a brown belt representing Checkmat. He is best known for his aggressive style and no-hold-barred attitude on and off the mats.

Michell Captured the 2021 IBJJF-No-Gi World title and is known for his modern approach to the grappling game.

Born on September 27, 1995 in Epsom, NH, and training out of San Diego, CA, Bradley is a black belt under Andre Galvao and represents Atos. A gi and no-gi brown belt IBJJF Pan silver medalist, Bradley is known as “the Escape Artist” for his skill in fighting out of bad positions.

An IBJJF No-Gi Pans brown belt champion, Breylor Grout is renowned for his darce choke.

A former Division III collegiate wrestler, Sousa is best known for his buggy choke submission.

Born on October 20, 2001 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil Gomes is a black belt under his father, Antonio Carlos, and Leo Veiria and represents Checkmat. Gomes has won the IBJJF World Championships at every colored belt level, and also earned double gold at the 2021 No-Gi World Championships at the brown belt rank. He is known for his fast-paced passing game, and his scrappy style of jiu-jitsu.

He hails from Louisiana.
