The upcoming Bellator 198 card near Chicago is set to be a monster night in MMA action. 

Not only will "The Last Emperor" Fedor Emelianenko return to the Bellator cage for the first time in a year against history's most submission-savvy heavyweight in Frank Mir, but on top of that, three of the biggest names in jiu-jitsu will also be on Saturday night's card at Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL!

First, the much-anticipated MMA debut of grappling's most polarizing star, Dillon Danis, is finally here.

Danis will make the walk to the cage for the first time ever (but not the first time he's competed in a cage!) in his life on Saturday. Although if you listen to Dillon, this was his destiny all along. 

One thing we know for sure is that Danis is a world-class grappler, having won the World Championships at brown belt and beaten some of the best competitors in our sport. And while most haven't gotten a glimpse of his standup game, there is little doubt his team in Dublin, Ireland, won't have him ready for all things inside that cage.

This is a fight that we in the jiu-jitsu community have been looking forward to for a long time. Dillon Danis' Bellator debut is must-see TV!

While we thought we'd be getting a high-level Bellator middleweight title eliminator on Saturday pitting two ADCC veterans against each other, it appears that the matchup between Rafael Lovato Jr. and John Salter will have to wait. 

If you are a true jiu-jitsu fan this match has been on your radar since it was announced, but just days before the fight is scheduled to take place, Salter was forced to pull out after failing to be cleared by the Illinois athletic commission. 

But all is not lost!

Stepping up on short notice is Gerald Harris, a UFC veteran riding a four-fight win streak. MMA fans might remember him as the man who brutally KO'd David Branch with a vicious slam back at UFC 116. 

In fact, Harris owns a win over Lovato's previous opponent, Salter, from back in 2010. One could argue that with Harris' storied pedigree as a fighter and a 25-5 record this could be an even tougher fight for the decorated American jiu-jitsu fighter. 

Even with the last-minute opponent switch, there is a lot of pressure on Lovato to perform and seize his spot as the No. 1 contender for Bellator's middleweight title. 

Finally making another appearance in the Bellator cage is the premier Gracie family member carrying the torch in MMA. Following in the footsteps of Royce, Renzo, and Roger, Neiman Gracie has established himself as a contender in Bellator's welterweight division and with a win on Saturday could catapult himself to the top of the heap.

He'll be facing off against Mexico's Javier Torres, a matchup that fell through at the final hour of Bellator 185 back in October 2017. Neiman went on to face last-minute replacement Zak Bucia at the event and secured his sixth submission victory in seven fights. Bellator will try again to get this fight to cage on Saturday night in what could be a stiff test for Gracie.

Torres enjoyed time on the UFC reality show "The Ultimate Fighter" and has a 10-3 record. 

With those three submission specialists on the card plus Mir, don't be surprised if you see some high-level jiu-jitsu on display Saturday night.
