Super Roll Sunday!
For some it’s the biggest sporting day of the year – for others it just means open mat has been cancelled. Don't stress -We've got you covered.

FloGrappling is stoked to present our inaugural Super Roll Sunday! Three barn-burner matches, plus a Gracie Breakdown of what it's like to roll with an NFL athlete.  Enjoy, and get motivated for tomorrow's training!

Vitor Shaolin vs Nakamura Daisuke - Polaris 2
Polaris 2 had so many great matches it was tough to pick just one.  Though Vitor is from the old school, he had no problem implementing a modern lapel guard and leg drag passing approach.  Nakamura’s defense held up incredibly well against the pressure of Shaolin and he was able impose his own game.  A great technical display that some have called the best gi match to come out of Polaris yet!

_________

Jackson Sousa vs Felipe Bueno - IBJJF 2016 European Championships
Losing a match to Romulo Barral in the Absolute division of the 2016 European Championships was all the motivation Jack needed to storm through the heavyweight division the next day. Felipe Bueno put up a valiant effort but Jackson was not to be denied.

_________

Patrick Gaudio vs Dillon Danis -  Copa Podio 2016 Lightweight GP
Patrick Gaudio and Dillon Danis received a standing ovation from the crowd for their display of technical ability and heart shown in this match.

BONUS
The Gracie Academy in Torrance, CA has its fair share of celebrity students, but Tamba Hali may be the best athlete among them all. Tamba is a 275lb linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs and has been training at the Gracie Academy during the off season since 2007. Rener provides some great analysis during their 6 minute roll
