With 24 of the world's finest grapplers fighting across six divisional brackets: Men's Featherweight, Middleweight, Heavyweight, & Ultra Heavyweight, and Women's Lightweight & Super Heavyweight.

The Crown features four men's and two women's brackets across six divisions, with 48 of the best in the world all taking the mats. To raise the stakes, the IBJJF will award a $20,000 prize to the winner of each division, with over $250,000 being awarded to all athletes!

IBJJF's The Crown 2024 Finals

Erich Munis vs Marcus "Scooby" Ribeiro | Men's Ultra Heavyweight

Calm and composed, Munis swept Ribeiro before landing in turtle on the edge of the mat then reset to the center. Off the start, Munis immediately attacked with an ezekiel choke and found the finish to repeat as a back-to-back IBJJF Crown Champion!

Gabi Pessanha vs Melissa Cueto | Women's Super-Heavyweight

Gabi Pessanha goes three for three on submissions on the night as she secures a rear naked choke finish to repeat and become a back-to-back IBJJF Crown Champion!

Adam Wardzinski vs Gustavo Batista | Men's Heavyweight

Putting his signature butterfly half-guard on display to get the job done, Adam Wardzinski met stiff competition in Gustavo Batista. Patiently battling off Batista's passing efforts, Wardzinski nearly found a sweep late in the match, but Batista beautifully recovered position. Wardzinski was awarded an advantage for his efforts on the sweep, which won him the fight.

Tainan Dalpra vs Andy Murasaki | Men's Middleweight

Unfortunately, Tainan Dalpa did not compete due to an injury, and Andy Murasaki won the middleweight IBJJF Crown by default.

Janaina Maia vs Brianna Ste-Marie | Women's Lightweight

In a razor-thin battle, Brianna Ste-Marie's submission hunting proved the difference, scoring two crucial advantages from kneebar and footlock attempts before icing the match by forcing turtle as time expired.

Diego Pato vs Joao Mendes | Men's Featherweight

After a stalemated first half of the fight, Pato and Mendes picked up the pace when Pato found a sweep in the closing minutes. In the ensuing scramble, Pato took Mendes's back, where he found the collar choke finish!
