The ADCC Women's -55kg division showcases a lineup of elite grapplers from around the globe, each bringing a unique set of skills and accolades to the mat. ADCC World Championships 2024 begins at 1:00 p.m. EDT, with matches beginning at 1:45 p.m. EDT. 

This year's -55kg competition features a mix of seasoned veterans and promising newcomers, all vying for supremacy in one of the most prestigious events in submission grappling. Among the competitors are Margot Ciccarelli from Italy, the European Trials winner, and Ana Rodrigues from Brazil, the South American Trials champion.

They are joined by Mayssa Bastos, a highly regarded invitee from Brazil, and Jasmine Rocha from the United States, who clinched her spot by winning the West Coast Trials. Adele Fornarino from Australia, winner of the Asia & Oceania Trials, adds to the international flavor. The field is rounded out by invitees Bianca Basilio and Brenda Larissa from Brazil, and Alex Enriquez from the Philippines. 

Basilio is the current betting favorite for the -55kg weight class at +150.
