Dillon Danis Announces Retirement From Fighting
BJJ competitor and social media star Dillon Danis has announced that he is now retired from fighting.
After a career that has spanned grappling, MMA, and boxing, Dillon Danis has announced his retirement via social media. The black belt ADCC Worlds veteran has not competed in Brazilian jiu-jitsu since 2017.
Danis's official announcement was just a short post on social media network X (Twitter).
I'm done with fighting. I'm retired. Love you all.

Danis was a world champion at brown belt who was a well-known competitor at black belt, and an early rival of the Danaher-trained squad of Garry Tonon and Gordon Ryan. Dillon fought several times at the ADCC World Championships, though left submission grappling relatively early to focus on MMA.

His in-cage career never really got going, as he only ever had two fights (and went 2-0) for Bellator MMA, though he gained a lot of notoriety for his relationship with Conor McGregor. Dillon most recently lost a boxing match to social media influencer Logan Paul by disqualification.
