Dream Art Project Supercut
In early 2019 when I was living in Rio de Janeiro and I took a trip to Sao Paulo to shoot some content for FloGrappling. One athlete cancelled at the last minute, facing a dilemma of what to do with that day I messaged my friend Isaque Bahiense at 7 am, trying to shoot one of his training sessions. He responded to me but with a different idea, he didn't want me to film him training but wanted me to film a project he had just started.
Doubtful about this project, I still shot Isaque training at Alliance HQ just in case. He insisted that what he had going on at this "Dream Art Project" was going to be big and I had to check it out. I was scheduled to fly back to Rio the next morning, he paid for me to adjust my travel and another two nights at an Airbnb, because he said one day would not be enough.
Isaque was right. The Dream Art Project went on to dominate the jiu-jitsu landscape in 2019. They scored 42 points at Worlds and propelled Alliance to team titles at the Brasileiro and Abu Dhabi World Pro. Currently 21 athletes from Dream Art are in our rankings (almost the entire project) and they have the P4P number one's at male purple and brown belt.
Here is a look at the early days of the Dream Art Project. Their training, english classes, physical therapy, meal prep, everything. Special thanks to my wife for helping with all the translations, and to Isaque and Warley Pimentel for all the assistance. 2020 is going to be even bigger for the project, check out where things started.
