The Two ADCC Rematches Garry Tonon Hopes For

Once on the cutting edge of submission grappling, Garry Tonon took a break to pursue a career in MMA. We caught up with the three-time ADCC veteran in New York to get his thoughts on the 77kg division, aka the “Group of Death”, and to find out the two rematches he would love to get. 

“After being away from the sport for two years, anything I do will be seen quite well. Expectations for me are to some degree high because I am a veteran but I have been away for so long, I think anything I am able to accomplish will be a feather in my cap regardless of how far I go because my the shift in focus [to MMA].”
