Respect 3 Dark Horse Gabriel Martins Looking To Test Himself Against Sport's Elite

Gabriel Martins was chosen as a last minute replacement when Atos star JT Torres fell off the Respect 3 card just a few weeks before the event. But that doesn't mean Martins was hesitant to take the spot, in fact he is relishing the opportunity to test himself against the top guys in the sport and is expecting a big win on Saturday night.

For a long time I've been trying to face the big names of the sport and Gianni (Grippo) is one of those guys. He recently won Pan Ams, I have been watching his game for a long time and it's not something I think I can't handle. So I'm going there with the mentality to win for sure.

Gabriel Martins will meet Bryan Tidwell from Nashville MMA in the first round of the 155lb four man tournament and in the main event the greatest American black belt Rafael Lovato Jr goes to battle against Comprido protege Steve Patterson.
