Derrick Garza Is Training To Be The Onnit Invitational Champion

Derrick Garza, the oldest competitor at 36 years of age, is a no-gi specialist who has been preparing hard for the Onnit Invitational.

“These guys are going to come out for the kill. I don’t want to take anything away from any of them, I just want to show what my jiu-jitsu is about.”

A black belt from the Paragon BJJ team, Garza has one simple goal.

“I’m training because I want to be a champion. I’m training my submission game, I’m not a points player, I want to go out there and get the win and come back the champion.”
