WNO: Gordon Ryan vs Ronaldo Junior is shaping up to be the biggest event of the year, with Gordon vs Ronaldo and Garry Tonon vs Dante Leon already announced. The event will go down on Friday, July 31st, at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Austin, Texas.

We promised three big matches on this one and we didn't disappoint with the first two. We've already announced on social media that Craig Jones will be in the third match, but against who?

Craig Jones vs Lucas 'Hulk' Barbosa

Keeping with the Atos vs DDS theme that we have seen on WNO, with both Ruotolos fighting Nicky Ryan and Ethan Crelinsten and now Gordon vs Ronaldo, we figured why not add another one in. This one is a major matchup between two ADCC medalists in Craig Jones and Lucas "Hulk" Barbosa. Both men are currently ranked top five in our Official No-Gi Rankings.

This match will be the first meeting between the two, who finished second and third in different weight classes at the 2019 ADCC. While highly ranked and no doubt two of the best in the game, they are both coming off upset losses and most likely can't wait to compete. This should be an interesting matchup stylistically, with Hulk trying to smash his way through Craig's guard while Craig attempts leg entries.

Like Garry Tonon vs Dante Leon, this matchup will take place under 15 minutes submission-only rules. The weight limit is 205 lbs and both men should be expected to be near the same size day of competition.
