After three years of partnership, Tammi and Mikey Musumeci announced yesterday in a brief statement that they have left their current team and will no longer be representing Brasa CTA.
“No problems, no drama. Tammi and I decided to leave CTA. We are beyond grateful and thankful to Caio and Nick for everything they have done for us. “
The two siblings picked up a combined four IBJJF black belt World titles while flying the Brasa CTA flag, making it one of the longest partnerships and most successful periods in their careers.
But it was also known that the two enjoyed a long-distance relationship with Terra, only trained at Caio’s San Jose gym on an infrequent basis.
Tammi and Mikey spend most of their time in Las Vegas where they live with their family and were both enrolled in University.
As of publishing, the Musumecis had not indicated their future plans and it is still unknown where they will land next.
