Fans who have been following the Who's Number One podcast and event should know that Caio Terra and Mikey Musumeci have big plans: namely, taking on the massive opponents to prove that an incredible difference in size is nothing in the face of perfect technique.

Musumeci is already scheduled to face Erberth Santos – a former black belt super-heavyweight world champion – later this month at Who's Number One 2: Musumeci vs Santos, but it seems the pair didn't want to burn any more daylight than necessary while on their quest: the three-time world champion just jumped into the heavyweight division at the IBJJF 2020 Pan Championships.

Musumeci's appearance takes an already captivating division to the next level; we've got athletes like Adam Wardzinski, Tim Spriggs, Vinicius "Trator" Ferreira, and Jackson Sousa already in the mix, and it's anyone's guess who will climb to the top of the stacked bracket.

Knowing Caio and Mikey, it's also no accident that Musumeci also ended up in the same division as friend and training partner Roberto Jimenz —  it's a safe bet the pair have hopes to close out the division.
