Tommy Langaker has been on the bubble of earning a major IBJJF title since earning his black belt 2017; the Norwegian earned second at Europeans in 2019 and second at Worlds in 2018, among other solid performances.

Persistence and years of hard work finally paid off at the 2020 European Championships, when the Viking beast stormed through the middleweight division.
