Back in April German grappler Meraz Avdoyan won all of his matches at the ADCC 2nd European Trials by submission– and without giving up a single point.
Representing Matrix Jiu-Jitsu in Kaiserslautern, Avdoyan (who took silver at the ADCC Trials in 2017) even submitted ADCC veteran Kamil Uminski in only 36 seconds!
He has an interesting mix of strong wrestling and nasty leglocks, a potent combination that reflects– as Keenan describes– the "implosion of no-gi jiu-jitsu".
Check out his nice reverse kneebar in the final, it's a thing of beauty.
