The main event of Fight 2 Win 79 saw two veterans of the game, Bill Cooper and Vitor Oliveira, throw down in front of a roaring crowd in Columbus, Ohio.

Though both athletes are masters competitors, the duo had one of most engaging matches of the night and showed they both have new tricks up their sleeves.

It was a back and forth bout, with neither man appearing to favor top or bottom position, equally happy to exchange sweeps and attacks from any position.  Vitor led the match in submission attempts, hunting for loop chokes, triangles, and more, before locking in a beautiful arm-in guillotine with 3 minutes left.   Though Cooper did his best two defend, he was unable to escape the choke and was forced to tap, giving Vitor his second Fight 2 Win victory.

Dante Leon took on noted leg lock specialist Joe Baize in a thrilling bout that was essentially one-way traffic: Leon's frantic pace and unrelenting pressure saw him secure the back and RNC submission with two minutes left in the match.  

Budding grappler David Garmo from Detriot Jiu-Jitsu / Carpe Diem Tokyo finished Jon Stutzman in ONE minute with a savage kneebar.  Keep an eye on this young grappler, great things surely lie ahead.
