Vitor Oliveira vs. Bill Cooper

Don’t let the fact that Vitor Oliveira qualifies as a Masters 1 athlete fool you. He’s still got some serious firepower under the hood. The GF Team representative played the spoiler to JT Torres' Worlds gold hopes, besting the Atos athlete in the quarterfinals by hitting a sneaky inside trip and maintaining top position for the rest of the match.

Standing across from Oliveira this Friday will be Paragon representative and perennial jiu-jitsu showman Bill Cooper. The 31-year-old has been clocking in some serious hours with the promotion, headlining three events in just as many months, and earning wins over Mark Vives and Noad Lahat in the process. The keys to victory for "the Grill" will almost certainly include flying attacks and unorthodox positions.

Dante Leon vs. Joe Baize

The co-main event of the night brings us an intriguing no-gi bout between leglock specialist Joe Baize and another GF Team Beast, Dante Leon.

Leon's wheelhouse is definitely more gi-related, so facing Baize is a true test.

David Garmo vs. Jon Stutzman

David Garmo leaped onto our radar in 2017 when he took second place as a brown belt at the IBJJF No-Gi Pan Championships. Originally hailing from Detroit jiu-jitsu, Garmo spent the latter half of last year training and competing with Team Carpe Diem in Tokyo. Garmo is a well-rounded grappler with slick crucifix game and submission-oriented style.

Jon Stutzman, on the other hand, is a longtime veteran of the submission-grappling game: there's a video of him competing with Ryan Hal at NAGA in 2007! We're eager to see if Stutzman's experience can hold off the rising talent of David Garmo.
