Here's what to watch each day of competition at the 2018 IBJJF World Championships
The IBJJF has updated their official schedule for the 2018 World Championships. Check out the full run of show below.

Thursday – May 31: White & Blue Belts
Thursday Kicks off the event with the white and blue belt divisions.
- White Adult (Weight divisions)
- White Masters (Weight divisions)
- Blue Adult Male and Female (Weight divisions and Open Class)
Friday – June 1: Purple Belt Men & Women + Select Brown Belts
Elite action begins on Friday. We're especially fired up to see Cicero Costha / Unity's crew of purple belt murderers like Thalison Soares and Jonas Andrade. Other standouts at faixa roxa include Guthierry Barbosa, Conner DeAngelis, and more. (See our pound-for-pound purple belt rankings here.)
Fridays' brown belt action will see run through light-featherweight category, meaning we'll we'll see top 15 P4P athletes Kennedy Maciel, Gabriel Sousa, Carlos Oliveira. (See Brown Belt P4P rankings here)

Saturday – June 2nd: Black Belt Absolute, Brown Belts, Juveniles
The moment that everyone's been waiting for: the first day of black belt competition! Any divisions with 9 or more athletes – plus the black belt absolute division – are set to run up to the semi-finals. Leandro Lo, Buchecha, Meregali, Cornelius, JT Torres, Caio Terra, and many, many more will all make their first appearance at Worlds today.
We'll also see the heavier brown belt divisions finish up, and the future of jiu-jitsu with the juvenile blue belt divisions.

Sunday – June 3rd: Black Adult (Weight divisions and Open Class)
Sunday is where legends are born: it's time for the black belt semi-finals and finals. Will anyone defeat Buchecha? Can Keenan Cornelius win his first black belt world title? Is it time for another American World Champion? All these questions and more will be answered; we can hardly wait.
