The explosive Erberth Santos only needed 24 seconds to take down and choke out his opponent in the final of the 110kg Brazil country qualifier at the 2018 Abu Dhabi World Pro on Thursday.

Santos had three matches to qualify for the main bracket, which takes place on Friday.

In his opening match, he beat Raphael Souza 4-3. Santos followed up with a choke from back versus Mauricio Lima to enter the final.

Santos faced off with Ricardo Evangelista of GF Team in the final match of the bracket. Santos and GF Team have long had issues, due to his many matches with team members such as Victor Honorio. 

The match was over almost as soon as it began. Santos launched the gigantic Evangelista with a shoulder throw before jumping on his back and finishing him with a rear-naked choke. 

Santos has had a rocky couple of months, but this was a long welcomed return to form and showcased Erberth at his best: fired up, explosive, dangerous, and capable of going all the way.
