Little is known about the young Gracie, who is 6-foot and weighs around 165lb (74kg), other than he had an amateur MMA fight in September, which he won via decision. The fight only featured a minimal amount of groundwork.
Royce Gracie is famous as the winner of the early UFC tournaments, events which were instrumental in kickstarting the global development of MMA. A contracted fighter and brand ambassador for Bellator, the 50-year-old Gracie last fought in September 2016 when he defeated Ken Shamrock via first-round TKO.
Khonry Gracie is unusual in that he has no experience of competing in jiu-jitsu or grappling tournaments. He is reported as saying that he did not want to compete in competitions with points systems.
