Another crazy night of submission-only grappling wrapped up Sunday night in Portland, Oregon, at Chael Sonnen's Submission Underground 5. The free-spirited event that pits jiu-jitsu specialists up against MMA veterans delivered a star-studded card with plenty of slick submissions, hard-fought battles, and bizzare interviews.

5. Phil Baroni's Post-Fight Interview

While everybody is talking about AJ Agazarm's particularly head-scratching interview with Sonnen on Sunday night, it's Phil Baroni who ended up looking like a star on the mic. After barely catching his breath from his battle with Agazarm, Baroni let the fans in attendance know who was the real winner of the fight.

I'm the better wrestler hands down. I have the better build, I'm better looking, I'm stronger. I'm the better guy... Who really won?

It's been quite some time since fans have seen "The Best Eva" in action, and his brief interaction with Sonnen post-match is one of the main reasons why they've missed Baroni.

4. Grace Gundrum: The Hype is Real

If 10th Planet prodigy Grace Gundrum wasn't on your radar, she is now. After an exciting match in regulation against Stella Davison, Gundrum took over in overtime and found the submission.

3. Andrew Alexander Steals The Shine!

One of the best parts of Submission Underground is that it's become the premier proving ground for Portland's top talent. What should have been a showcase fight for the more experienced Joe Baize ended up in a highlight-reel submission for brown belt Andrew Alexander.

After winning his past two appearances at Submission Underground, Alexander took the step up in competition and showed he can submit some very high-level guys. He's one to keep your eye on going forward.

2. Craig Jones vs. Gordon Ryan

Craig Jones followed up his star-making performance at last weekend's ADCC with an impressive dismantling of King of the Cage champion Ben Egli. Jones is on a tear and proved his system of attacks works against anybody on Sunday.

However, the most memorable part was when Sonnen offered him a rematch with ADCC 88kg champion Gordon Ryan at Submission Underground 6 on December 3. Though Jones and Ryan just recently met last weekend at ADCC, the idea of a submission-only match between the two rising stars is incredibly exciting.

1. AJ Agazarm Challenges Chael Sonnen

Back to AJ. Despite his wacky post-fight interview, Agazarm put on a show for the Portland fans just a week after making the finals at ADCC -- one of jiu-jitsu's most notoriously physical and grueling tournaments. Agazarm rode out Baroni's storm and managed to finish the exhausted MMA veteran in overtime in what was a surprisingly back-and-forth match.

After the cringe had worn off, FloGrappling caught up with Agazarm to make sense of his post-match thoughts. And the idea of Agazarm vs. Sonnen didn't sound too bad.
