It sounds like things got pretty crazy today in Las Vegas at the No-Gi American Nationals. 

First off, Josh Hinger and Keenan Cornelius met in the final of the heavyweight division, but the Atos teammates didn't want to close out. Instead, they fought and Hinger won 3-0 thanks to a guard pass with his patented 'Hingertine'.

Fellow Atos black belt Lucas 'Hulk' won gold in the medium heavyweight division, beating out the very tough Lucas Rocha of ZR Team in the final. 

Dante Leon won gold in his black belt debut, his first tournament at the new rank since being promoted shortly after Worlds. Leon won the black belt middleweight division by beating Piter Frank Silva, Nathan Mendelsohn and Marcos Almeida. 

The female featherweight bracket didn't turn out as expected. Tammi Musumeci beat Talita Alencar 2-0 in the opening round, with Talita then facing Pati Fontes of Checkmat as the division only had three people. Talita won, putting her and Tammi against each other in the final. Unfortunately, they both got DQ'd and Fontes ended up taking gold! 

The brown belt debut of Devhonte Johnson also went to plan, as he took gold in the super heavyweight division. [Update: Johnson went on to take DOUBLE gold]

Purple belt Andrew Wiltse won gold by beating Ronaldo Junior 13-2. They had fought at Royal II just a few weeks ago, with Jr. winning by submission, making it sweet revenge for the American.
