Alexsandro, or just Alex, Sodré is a 20-year-old brown belt student of Roridgo Fejao.

Original from Manaus, Sodré now lives in Maringá to continue his pursuit of becoming a jiu-jitsu World Champion.





An abbreviated list of accomplishments shows that Sodré is a 2x Brazilian National Champion at blue and purple belt, the 2016 Abu Dhabi World Pro Purple Champion; he's also racked up staggering 26 IBJJF Open Medals.

The 2017 IBJJF World Championships marks the first time Sodré has been able to train and compete in the in the USA, and he couldn't be more excited. Watch the full interview with Alex now (translations kindly provided by Horlando Monteiro).
