SCOTTSDALE, Arizona -- Mackenzie Dern defended the women's black belt bantamweight gi title tonight at Fight to Win Pro 25 in Scottsdale, Arizona, after defeating former world champion Pati Fontes.

Mackenzie Dern remains undefeated in all of her Fight To Win Pro appearances. The reigning champ went for a brabo choke against Fontes and succeeded, making her the winner for the third time in as many F2W appearances.

In the co-main event, Augusto "Tanquinho" Mendes earned the black belt lightweight no-gi title after positionally dominating Jeff Glover for the majority of the fight despite having to combat Glover's classic antics. The match before theirs saw Gianni Grippo defeat Samir Chantre via split decision.

This was the fourth Fight to Win event to feature a female main event, with their last one taking place just two weeks ago.
