The main card for Submission Underground 3 is official and features a mouth-watering main event match between Dillon Danis and AJ Agazarm in Portland, Oregon, on Sunday, Jan. 29.
The submission-only match will go down in the SUG cage and tops a bill that also features elite leglocker Garry Tonon against UFC star Hector Lombard, infamous up-and-coming prodigy Gordon Ryan versus grizzled veteran Jeff Monson, and the enigmatic yet dangerous Jeff Glover squaring off against wrestler-turned-MMA fighter Chad Mendes.

Danis is a 2016 IBJJF No-Gi Pan champion and in 2014 was a World champion, Abu Dhabi World Pro champion, World No-Gi champion, and Pan American champion as a brown belt.

"The Florida Boy" has been a staple in BJJ since his first world championship in 2007 (blue belt). Ryan's meteoric ascendancy over the past two years was the result of winning the World No-Gi Championship as a brown belt in 2015, two EBI championships, and a host of other no-gi tournaments and superfights, particularly versus Keenan Cornelius, which was voted Upset of the Year in the 2016 FloGrappling Awards.Jeff Monson
