Romulo Barral was on fire this weekend at the 2016 IBJJF European Championships, tapping out all seven of his opponents.
In the absolute and middle-heavyweight divisions, Barral finished:
Barral coaches Arges at Gracie Barra Northridge in LA and promoted Arges to black belt on the podium at IBJJF No-Gi Worlds 2016.
Felipe Pena enjoys a very close relationship with Barral, who is six years older. Barral remarked he has known Pena since the younger man was a white belt, and is close friends with his older brother Augusto ‘Tio Chico’, also a black belt in jiu-jitsu.
