One of the biggest events of the year, the 2025 IBJJF Brasileiro, will begin shortly in São Paulo, Brazil, in the third of the four annual Grand Slams of the Federation.

Among the many divisions and weight classes at the IBJJF Grand Slam, black belt levels are the most anticipated for jiu-jitsu fans.

The Ultra-Heavyweight division has the heaviest and strongest black belts in the entire sport, meaning these grapplers are just flat-out attempting to outpower their opponent and leave no doubt they are superior until the next major event.

A total of 16 competitors are set to duel it out for the Ultra-Heavyweight division Brasileiro crown at the Jośe Correa Multi-Sport Gymnasium from April 26 - May 4.
