FloSports and Mica Galvão have extended their deal for five more WNO events, starting with WNO 28
FloSports and Mica Galvão have extended their partnership in a deal that will bring him to even more FloGrappling WNO events, starting with WNO 28. The Brazilian superstar grappler is fresh off of a year that saw him win the Super Grand Slam, only the second athlete to ever accomplish the feat. Now, he will be competing on more FloGrappling events as he sets his sights on even more major accomplishments.

Mica will next be in action April 26th on BJJ Stars 15 in their -83kg Grand Prix where he attempts to become a double champion in the promotion (he already holds the -77kg title for the Sao Paulo-based league). FloGrappling will continue to feature Mica in our original content and programming, available across all our channels, including a film later this year about his historic 2024 Super Grand Slam run called 'The Year of Mica'.

Mica's run last year netted him the 2024 FloGrappling Male Athlete of the Year award, given to the top performing male athlete of any grappling discipline in any weight class. The 21 year old Manaus-based black belt is the current WNO welterweight champion, having captured the belt with a flying armbar that won 2023's Submission of the Year.
