Grappling legend Xande Ribeiro will make his return to professional jiu-jitsu when he takes on 10th Planet OG Richie "Boogeyman" Martinez at WNO 27. This stylistic clash goes down April 18th in Round Rock, TX as part of a packed night of super fights that is headlined by ADCC Champion Kaynan Duarte vs CJI Champion Nick Rodriguez in the biggest WNO super fight in history. This will be Ribeiro's first professional match since 2021, and the first meeting between these two impressive veterans.

Xande Ribeiro has had one of the most storied careers in jiu-jitsu, winning major championships in every style of the sport and defeating some of the greatest black belts of all-time. He is a hall of fame athlete for both the IBJJF and the ADCC, and now trains some of the best in the world at Six Blades Jiu-Jitsu. Ribeiro was most recently in action at the IBJJF European Championships, where he competed in the Masters divisions and took home gold.

Richie "Boogey" Martinez is one of 10th Planet's most experienced and successful black belts, having represented the Freaks against some of the best in the world at the highest levels of the game. He's especially known for his unorthodox guard - including his wicked gogoplata that is rare to see in a guy his size. This will be Martinez's WNO debut, and he was most recently in action picking up a win at Main Character Jiu-Jitsu.
