In another major marquee matchup, BJJ Stars 15: History will feature a first time meeting between Poland's Adam Wardzinski and Brazil's Erich Munis. This is shaping up to be a monumental event with several big super fights and an 8-man middleweight Grand Prix already announced. Adam and Erich are both 2024 IBJJF World Champions who are ranked in the top-5 pound-for-pound in the world and this huge matchup could very well vault one of them into the top overall spot.
Adam Wardzinski won the 2024 Worlds, becoming the first male European to accomplish the feat at black belt after many years of grinding away towards that goal. Adam was on fire in 2024, winning Euros, Worlds, and the Crown to establish himself among the all-time greats. Erich Munis is the defending World Open Class champion, winning by default in 2024 after Jansen Gomes wasn't able to take the mats.
