The ADCC has announced that its Youth Championship, which held their inaugural event in 2024, will return in 2026! The tournament will choose athletes who accumulate enough points in the relevant rankings period to qualify. The event made the announcement on their Instagram.

ADCC Youth Championship is coming back in 2026.

Competitors will be selected by the amount of points they accumulate in the youth advanced divisions in the ADCC USA and Brazil opens. Points will be tallied from January 2025 to April 2026.

We will add 1 or 2 ADCC trials kids to qualify as well for the first time. Stay tuned for more details.

Points begin with the ADCC San Diego open on January 18, 2025

The ADCC Youth Championship is an extension of the ADCC Open events which began during the last ADCC cycle and gave kids their first opportunity to compete under the ruleset. The most outstanding athletes from each age & weight were chosen, invited to Las Vegas, and were able to compete in T-Mobile Arena - just like the professionals.

Now another series of tournaments will begin, with points available to those who enter and excel in the Opens in USA & Brazil.
