Craig Jones has confirmed that CJI will return in August of 2025 in Las Vegas, NV. Here's what to know about CJI 2.
Craig Jones announced over the weekend that CJI has secured the necessary funding for a sequel to the inaugural event, to take place in August 2025 in Las Vegas, NV.
The first event took place this August and saw Kade Ruotolo and Nick Rodriguez take home million-dollar purses in sixteen-man brackets that were streamed live on YouTube.

It remains to be seen if CJI 2 will follow the same format, but it will likely continue to use the CJI 'pit' - a walled structure that aims to cut down on fleeing and force action in the center - and MMA-style rounds with open scoring announced at the end of each 5-minute period.
Jones did confirm that the event will happen in Las Vegas, so it could potentially happen again at the Thomas & Mack Center (which held both CJI 1 and ADCC 2022 Worlds).
