Here’s everything you need to know about the Helena Crevar vs. Leilani Bernales fight that will be part of WNO 25 in Houston on Dec. 4.
WNO 25 in Houston on Dec. 4 will feature fighters of all shapes and sizes, both men and women, and the whole night at the Bayou Music Center should make for another memorable installment in the legacy of the Who’s Number One franchise.
Among the nearly a dozen matchups for the evening will be a featherweight bout between Helena Crevar and Leilani Bernales – an up-and-coming star against an international sensation who has had her share of success but continues to look for ways to elevate her name and performances.

Crevar, now living in Austin, Texas, is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu prodigy who by 15, already had tallied more than 150 fights, winning 148 (130 but submission).
At 17, Crevar has years of experience traveling to major events, and she recently became the youngest finalist in the history of the ADCC World Championship. Crevar took home the silver medal at -65KG, falling to Ana Vieira in the championship match in Las Vegas in August.
Less than a month later, Crevar earned a purple belt as the next logical step in her meteoric journey in Jiu-Jitsu.
Bernales, a 24-year-old who was born in Hawaii and raised in Peru, is a brown belt. She’s a two-time winner at the No-Gi Worlds, a past champion at the Pan IBJJF Jiu-Jitsu Championship and had hopes to make the United States Olympic team for Paris 2024.
She has exceled at every level of her career, but a win against one of the sport’s biggest names would be a huge breakthrough for Bernales.
