Main Character Jiu-Jitsu 5 has wrapped up. It provided a full day of jam-packed action, satisfying fans with the lengthy match card.
Four champions were crowned tonight after undergoing grueling fights, especially with both the 185-lb men's bracket and the 1135-lb women's bracket winner having a quick turnaround, having to take on Mo Black.

Gianni Grippo wraps up the event with a win over Geo Martinez in five minutes in the match with a chokehold and is the Main Character's 155-lb champion.
185-lbs Men's Championship: Jett Thompson def. Felipe Silva via Decision
Jett Thompson has made history by becoming the inaugural 185-lb men's champion. The young star has done it and will now defend his title.
Co-Main Event: 135-lbs Women's Championship Mo Black def. Ana Mayordomo via Submission
Mo Black successfully defends her title against Mayordomo, submitting her with a chokehold. That ends the impressive run that Mayordomo put together yesterday to get to the championship fight.
Max Hanson def. Dane Leak via Submission
Due to Shane Curtis going down with an injury in the beginning stages of the match, Dane Leak stepped in as a last-minute replacement so that Hanson could face off against an opponent tonight. The fight would finish early with a sleeper hold from Hanson.
Oliver Taza def. Kyle Chambers via Decision
Another overtime decision goes Taza's way, with him on the offensive attack nearly the whole match and getting the win over Chambers.
Co-Main Event: Richie Martinez def. Nonso Ebede via Decision
This fight was definitely the closest of the night, but Martinez took home the win over Ebede after he controlled the majority of the match.
Max Hanson def. Shane Curtis via "Submission"
Shane Curtis suffered an apparent leg injury early in the match and could not finish, ultimately giving Hanson the win.
185-lbs Men's Bracket: Jett Thompson def. Michael Salazar via Submission
The young prodigy Jett Thompson comes in and handles Salazar in no time, submitting him to advance to the finals for a match against Felipe Silva for the title.
185-lbs Men's Bracket: Felipe Silva def. Nick Ortiz via Submission
Silva dominated against Ortiz, advancing to the finals, and will compete to become the inaugural 185-lb men's champion.
Katie Bochenek def. Emily Hauser via Points
After a tight match, Bochenek comes through with a narrow overtime victory over Hauser.
Black Belt Match: David Garcia def. Nicholas Martinez via Submission
Garcia makes quick work of Martinez to pick up the win in the battle between the black belts.
Black Belt Match: Ruben Rivera def. Matthew Ferraiolo via Points
The first two super fights went into overtime, and this time, Ruben Rivera won by points.
