Tye and Kade Ruotolo are two of the biggest grappling stars in the sport today, and rightfully so. Both brothers are known for some of the most electric matches in jiu-jitsu history, with most of these taking place on the biggest stages the sport has to offer.
They started jiu-jitsu at just three years old and have a life dedicated to the gentle art ever since. Now at 21 years old, they have 19 years of experience with jiu-jitsu that has been tested at the highest level in both gi and no-gi competition.
When you watch the Ruotolo Brothers it is very apparent that they use a lot of instincts and quick reactions to always have a step on their competition. But, after attending one of their seminars myself, it was obvious that they are some of the most technical and knowledgable instructors in the game today. The Roots have a great connection (as twins usually do) and they are able to bounce back and forth while explaining high level technique in a way that is very entertaining and keeps you locked in to what you are trying to learn.
