Ffion Davies is set to embark on a new chapter of her professional jiu-jitsu career!

Ffion Davies is without a doubt the top female grappler in the world today, winning practically everything there is to win in the sport. She is a -60kg ADCC Champion, 2x IBJJF World Champion, 4X IBJJF No-Gi World Champion (including absolute champion in 2023), WNO Champion, and more.

So you might be asking, what is next for someone who has won it all like Ffion? Well based on her recent announcement via Instagram, Ffion is going to be taken a step deeper into the coaching side of the sport. Ffion announced that she would be taking a head coaching position at ARMA BJJ in Clapham, London. Here is what she had to say about the new endeavor:

"So excited to announce I’ll be head coach at [ARMA BJJ] opening April 2025 🥳 A new gym opening in Clapham, London. Teaching is my biggest passion alongside Jiujitsu and I’m so grateful to be entering this new phase of my career (I’ll still be competing!!)

The grappling superstar cited April 2025 as the potential opening date for the academy. If you want to learn more about the academy I'd suggest checking out their Instagram. The mockups show that it will certainly be a premier academy once it is built, featuring mats, fitness areas, and recovery facilities.
