Full Card Announced For BJJ Stars 14, Including Grand Prix & Title Fights!
BJJ Stars 14 is back with a featherweight grand prix and title fights featuring some of jiu-jitsu's biggest names, going down December 7th in São Paulo.
BJJ Stars is back again and the biggest super fight series in Brazil has another great card packed full of some of jiu-jitsu's biggest stars. This card, BJJ Stars 14, will feature an 8-man featherweight grand prix that includes three former world champions and two separate title matches. It all goes down December 7th, live from São Paulo.
The men's featherweight division is perhaps the deepest in the world and this 8-man bracket brings together three former world champions with a strong mix of contenders. Leading the field will be Meyram Maquine, who won the weight class at the IBJJF World Championships this year. Also in contention will be Fabricio Andrey, Sam Nagai, and Diego Sodre among others.
There will also be two critical title bouts at BJJ Stars 14, with the featured match at medium-heavyweight between world champions Jansen Gomes and Fellipe Andrew. Andrew won the belt in the grand prix earlier this year and aims to defend the strap against one of jiu-jitsu's greatest talents - Jansen.
Also vying for a title will be Jaime Canuto and Piter Frank, as they clash for the master's middleweight belt. Canuto and Frank have a reputation for being two of the most high flying athletes in the world, now they get a chance to let it all out on the big stage of BJJ Stars.
