Kody Steele's quest for a UFC contract continues as his next opponent is set for Dana White's Contender Series.

Steele's Contender Series saga has been a bit of a rocky one so far, and not due to Steele himself. He was originally booked to compete on the September 10th edition of the show, but left empty handed due to his opponent pulling out of the fight because of a panic attack. Dana White let it be known that Kody would certainly still get his chance to compete on this season of the Contender Series and now his next fight has officially been booked for the upcoming Tuesday, October 8th edition of the show.

Chasen Blair has stepped up to take on Steele in an attempt to sign a UFC contract of his own. Honestly, this seems like a pretty big step up in levels from Steele's previous contender series opponent. Blair has spent the majority of his career fighting in the US West region, fighting under the Cage Warriors banner. Throughout his pro career he has accumulated a 6-2 record. No stranger to getting the job done early, he has four KO/TKO finishes and two submission victories. Blair represents Studio 540 and MMA Fight Academy in California.

This matchup puts two young, hungry fighters who know how to put their opponents away early toe to toe in what could be an absolute slobberknocker. I think this fight is guaranteed to electrify the fans and launch someone's career into UFC superstardom.
