UFC Champion, ONE FC Champion, black belt, and MMA legend Demetrious 'Mighty Mouse' Johnson announced his retirement from professional mixed martial arts competition tonight, marking the end of one of the greatest careers in the history of the sport.

'Mighty Mouse', who earned his black belt in jiu-jitsu earlier this year, is one of the most successful flyweights in history, winning and defending the championship more than anyone in multiple organizations. His high-IQ, high-pace style helped cement him as one of the most technical and dynamic fighters of all-time.

Demetrious began competing in Brazilian jiu-jitsu competition last year and has committed to continuing to compete in gi events like the IBJJF Master World Championships and Pan Championships. He has even entered into the open class and defeated much larger opponents using his unique skill set.
