In a gripping finale of the +99kg division, Felipe Pena showcased his exceptional skill by submitting Luke Griffith with a rear naked choke about nine minutes into the match.

Pena's run during this tournament has been inspired. Having to compete not only in his main division, but in a Super Fight to cap off day 1 of ADCC 2024. Pena has previously won an Absolute title, but this is his first main division title.

Pena could also compete in the Absolute division this evening, going for the double-gold.
