New Wave Jiu-Jitsu student and BJJ phenom Helena Crevar became the youngest ADCC World Championship finalist ever when she withstood veteran Canadian grappler Briana Ste-Marie in the semifinals on Aug. 18 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. 

Crevar, who is an ADCC North American Trials champion, is the youngest competitor at the ADCC World Championships advanced -65KG ADCC World Championship bracket. At just 17, she is the youngest ever in a gold medal ADCC match.
