With just a week notice, Jonnatas Gracie, the No. 8 ranked grappler in his weight class beat No. 4 Jacob Couch at WNO 24
About 10 days ago, Jonnatas Gracie was not on the WNO 24 card. Now he's the WNO Middleweight Champion.
Filling in for an injured Francisco Lo, No, 8-ranked Gracie joined the card about eight days before WNO 24 and was challenged by veteran Coach who was the ranked No. 4.
Gracie and Couch went the distance, all 15 minutes, and the Brazilian from Atos gym had thoroughly dominated the match.

Gracie, no relation to the famed BJJ Gracie family, will have no shortage of challengers, including Tainan Dalpra, who beat Jay Rodriguez earlier on the card. Jonnatas Gracie also hinted at possibly challenging at a different weight class.
WNO 24 is the third Who's Number One of 2024 and one of the last major events before the ADCC World Championships on Aug. 17 and 18 in Las Vegas. The WNO 24 card features 10 current ADCC Trials champions and 12 overall.
