Here Are the Athletes On The WNO 23 Card Who Will Compete At ADCC 2024
The ADCC World Championships are less than 100 days away as of May 10, which is when WNO 23: Nicholas Meregali vs. Vagner Rocha goes down in Arlington.
The WNO 23: Meregali vs. Rocha features a handful of athletes who will officially compete at the ADCC World Championships in Las Vegas later this year and one who is going to compete.
The WNO 23 card features a current ADCC World Champion, Diogo Reis, as well as a former two-time ADCC champion, JT Torres.
In fact, the card could feature a potential ADCC match in the -77KG ADCC weight class.
Two, actually.
Nicky Ryan and JT Torres and Andrew Tackett and Tommy Langaker have all been either invited to ADCC or qualified at one of the ADCC Trials, the last of which is streaming live on FloGrappling on May 10 at 11 p.m. EST after WNO 23. The ADCC Asia & Oceania Championships 2 is the final set of trials.

Nicky Ryan called his match with JT Torres the biggest of his career and and Tackett’s match with first-time WNO competitor Tommy Langaker has the makings for the best of the night.
WNO 23 headliner Nicholas Meregali confirmed this week to FloGrappling that he is going to ADCC World Championships with his sights set on double gold up at the event. Meregali plans to compete in his weight class and in the Absolute weight class. The last grappler to win both was Gordon Ryan in 2019.
Jasmine Rocha is also headed to ADCC this year. She was the West Coast Trials winner at the -55KG weight class.
