2-Time World Champion JT Torres Officially Invited To ADCC 2024
The 2-time ADCC Champion JT Torres has officially been invited to the 2024 ADCC World Championships at -77kg.
JT Torres has officially been invited to the 2024 ADCC World Championships, the promotion announced today. The 2-time champion makes his return in the -77kg division, a division that was won in 2022 by Kade Ruotolo. The 2024 World Championships will be happening August 17-18th in Las Vegas, NV, at the T-Mobile Arena.

The ADCC organizers announced JT's inclusion this morning on Instagram:
JT Torres previously won the ADCC World Championships in 2017 and 2019, using a relentless pace, strong wrestling skills, and a strong use of strategy to overcome opponents. Torres competed at the 2022 Worlds, but lost in the quarterfinals to PJ Barch by points. He is currently ranked 12th in the world at 170lbs by FloGrappling.
The -77kg division is expected to have all of the place winners from 2022 returning, as well as the Trials winners. To date, the Trials winners (who are guaranteed a spot) are;
- Jozef Chen, 1st European, Middle East, & African Trials
- Elijah Dorsey, 1st North American Trials
- Kenta Iwamoto, 1st Asian & Oceanic Trials
- Tommy Langaker, 2nd European, Middle East, & African Trials
