Kade Ruotolo To Face Natan Chueng At IBJJF Grand Prix In Gi Super Fight
The IBJJF has announced that Kade Ruotolo will make his black belt gi debut in one week against Natan Chueng at the IBJJF No-Gi Absolute GP
Kade Ruotolo will make his return to IBJJF competition on February 29th when he takes on Natan Chueng in a super fight that will mark Kade's black belt debut in the gi. The IBJJF made the announcement that the two will face off at the upcoming No-Gi Absolute Grand Prix, happening February 29th in Costa Mesa, CA.

Kade Ruotolo has focused his black belt career on no-gi so far, winning the 2022 ADCC World Championships at -77kg with a 100% submission rate. Kade was exceptionally successful as a colored belt in IBJJF action, and this event marks his first with the organization as a black belt. He was most recently in action in ONE Championship, winning a decision victory over Tommy Langaker to defend his title belt.
Natan Chueng is an elite black belt competitor, ranked #7 in the world by FloGrappling in his weight class. He most recently medaled at the 2024 IBJJF European Championships, earning bronze at lightweight. In IBJJF competition he has defeated talented grapplers like JT Torres & Elijah Dorsey and medaled at major events like Pans and Brasileiros.

The absolute grand prix will bring together some of the biggest names in grappling to compete for the grand prize, including two reigning ADCC Champions and IBJJF multiple IBJJF black belt World No-Gi Champions. The 8-man bracket will feature;
