The final day of the 2024 IBJJF European Championship featured an upset in the black belt featherweight division Saturday morning in Paris. 

Ademir Barreto of GFTeam-Jiu Art stunned IBJJF World Champion Isaac Doederlein in the quarterfinals 2-0 for one of the biggest upsets of the week. Doederlein came to Paris as the No. 3-ranked No-Gi featherweight in the world and the No.1 athlete in the weightclass.
