The tournament will feature some of the best grapplers in the world, including Mica Galvão who entered the field as a middleweight.

Brackets for the event were released on Jan. 16 and competition from the Institute Judo in Paris, France starts on Jan. 20.

IBJJF European Championships are from Jan. 20 to Jan. 26. The black belt finals are on the final day day.
